1 Corinthians 15:17 — “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!”

There are questions about life and God that I cannot answer in any final, simplistic way. There are mysteries I cannot resolve, circumstances I cannot explain, and moments when I simply do not know why God allows what He allows.

But there is one thing that changes everything: Christ’s resurrection.

Paul understood that Christianity stands or falls on this single reality. If Christ was not raised, our faith is empty and our hope is misplaced. But if God raised Jesus from the dead, then death is not the end, sin does not have the final word, suffering is not meaningless, and the mysteries I cannot understand do not have to destroy my faith.

The resurrection does not answer every question, but it gives me a reason to trust God when the answers do not come.

If God raised Jesus from the dead, then I have hope beyond the mysteries. I may not understand everything God is doing, but I know what He has already done. The empty tomb assures me that God is able to bring life out of death, victory out of apparent defeat, and hope out of what seems hopeless.

I do not need an answer to every mystery when I have the certainty of an empty tomb.
