Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30).

One of the greatest dangers in the Christian life is compartmentalizing our faith. We can be devoted to Christ on Sunday yet leave Him out of our work, our conversations, our decisions, or our homes during the week.

Jesus calls us to something far greater.

When He speaks of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, He is not dividing us into four separate parts. He is using overlapping terms to emphasize totality. Every affection, every thought, every desire, every ability, and every action belongs to God.

The greatest commandment is not about giving God a portion of our lives—it is about giving Him our whole lives.

Christianity is not merely something we practice; it is the way we live. Every decision becomes an opportunity to honor Christ. Every relationship becomes a place to display His love. Every responsibility becomes an act of worship.

Let’s refuse to compartmentalize our Christianity. Christ is not looking for a place in our lives—He is worthy of every place.
